In a normal campaign there’d be repercussions for a guy that pardoned or commuted a half dozen or so people who went on to commit more crimes.
To be fair, in a normal campaign the guy running would not currently also be dealing with his still not litigated crimes Like if people cared about crimes being committed, Trump already provides enough on his own

He gave pardons to his co-conspirators in order to obstruct justice in cases against himself! I really think that should take precedence in voters' minds (and, you know, the FBI's; but those were 'official acts' and thus His Majesty cannot be charged).
