FEMA contractors ordered to ‘stand down’ after security threats, messages show

An inspection agency that works as a contractor for FEMA ordered its employees in western North Carolina to cease inspections over the weekend and return to hotels, WBTV has confirmed.

The “stand down” part has been confirmed. The “trucks of militia” part has not. The contractor was repeating something somebody heard that somebody maybe said. It could be a rumor. The threats are real—But “truckloads of militia” so far are not.
