In non-fantasy, non-sci-fi real life, crazy stuff happens all the time that maybe someone can explain, but I sure can't. I like books that put the onus on the reader to have to accept without full omniscient understanding of unexplainable circumstances.

"Ya but that could never happen in real life..." But in this book, my dude, it did. Now chill and find out what happens as a result.

"I fought in the Clone Wars with your father." *refuses to elaborate what a Clone War is for 30+ years*
