Something I learned when dealing with bullies. All this "talk it out" and "be the bigger person" is utter fucking horseshit. The bullies stopped bullying me when I showed them I could, and would, fight back.

Teach people the difference between kindness and politeness.

You fundamentally can't please everyone when you have any type of fervently held goal or policy that different people agree and disagree on! Not if you have any sort of spine at least
