This is like my parrot, essentially a wild animal that shouldn't be in a house and gets hormonal. Bird people don't like referring to them as pets in the first place. She's a baby right now, but is very much not a pet already. We really do take away so much from animals by bringing them into homes.
It's called Oddities and Curiosities, I'm being silly. They travel all around the US major cities annually. Last year, they were auctioning off a rotting canine head complete with flies in a small pet container. So weirdo-convention does still seem appropriate for what is there.
It sucks when that happens, parrots can live a long time, but they get sick quickly. I wanted my cat to last another 10. It's funny how the little birds care so much.
Aww, you have multiple? I don't think I can handle more than 1, although some social needs would be alleviated. I picked her because she was alone already, I didn't want to isolate a bird who was in a happy flock.
Yeah, I did research beforehand, but you don't really know until you have the bird. I chose a cuddlier/ quiet bird, but that means she's very social. She also asks to do activities, like training and I don't want to ignore her requests. So sitting down waits.

We are supposed to get to know you, yes. Customer connection is a number that corporate wants to see alongside speed of service. Not a huge fan, it's not genuine to me.
I can't afford a lot of amazing work by other people, so I really might have to make my own. The old duct-tape cosplay was fun, but I could be working with foam, worbla and maybe silicone molds. For now, it's a hobby.
There will be more. I'm making an effort to make them into something proper with a full fantasy inspired story that I've wanted to make since before any fandoms caught my attention. I just really liked those monkey noses so now the whole world is going to be weird.
