this is such a great episode, in the grand Trek tradition of "hey! some of the cast comes from musical theater!" so we get Avery Brooks and Nana Visitor busting out the lounge standards nowadays we just get La'an and Chapel doing straight up musical numbers because the ship hit a probability field
