hey! did you know New Mill is posting four new games for preorder on Tuesday? haven't talked about it in a while, been wrestling with some burnout - but Tuesday 9/1 at 9am Eastern, four new games will be up on the website Idle Hands, Man-Eating House, Reapers 2nd Edition, and Somnia!
Dan gives Man-Eating House a fair assessment! It's definitely an odd one, and may be too many exceptions for some - but I think it's a remarkable design and a great one for anyone interested in seeing the range of trick taking games coming out of Japan.
Man-Eating House is the latest trick-taker to be given new life by New Mill Industries. It takes a few plays before the rules settle into the proper rhythm, but once they do this is a weird and fascinating plaything about kids, ghosts, and locked doors. My review: spacebiff.com/2024/09/17/m...
