Again I don't really want to review individual books because I don't want to risk spoilers. But needless to say the last few had a lot of sex, violence, magic, and all the supernatural you could ask for. They also had a bit of heart break and tears. I've enjoyed them. But now back to other series

I managed 10 books in January. I finished up the current books released for the Alexa Obrien series by Trina Lee. These books hold a special spot in my heart because I started them in 2020, when I was in a major reading slump, and it helped me escape the pandemic and get back to reading 💙📚

Very disappointed with the calls during the ravens/ chiefs game today. The ravens didn't play well today and likely still would have lost; however the reffing was atrocious and also contributed to the loss. That being said, very well played season, Ravens!

More accurately - writing something spoiler free of a book deep in a book series is hard. I don't want to mention any characters as then that risks spoiling what happens in earlier books with them and I don't want to take that away from anyone

💙📚 I'm tearing through books - I just finished Beauty Becomes the Beast. This one was better than vaewolf rising. It actually seemed like there was story to this one. But also SO much sex. It was enjoyable and quick. Not much character growth. Writing something spoiler free is hard. 6/10

💙📚 finished book 7 today - vaewolf rising. I've been away from the Alexa Obrien series for a while so it took me a bit to remember what's going on. I'm not certain I missed the series. The book wasn't bad but a lot of it seemed shallow. There was some decent character development though. 5/10

#book number 6 was Lucky Number 11. Holy shit, yall, this book was rough. It was a great book, and some amazing twists and turns. But it focuses on survivors of sexual assault. It is well written and it depicts PTSD with amazing accuracy from my experience with PTSD. 8/10

Growing up also means that cheesecake then wrecks your stomach after you eat it all 😭 but totally worth it and 10/10 will do again

Cont. The plot holes/armor are slightly eyebrow scratching but also just the nature of these books and doesn't detract. It had everything I could want and more. The editing in these books aren't always the best but they are so fun and a good story. 8/10 I can't wait for shirtaloon to release 11

I just finished my 5th #book this year. He Who Fights With Monsters Book 10. To try to not spoil anything from earlier in the series It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me angry (the ending especially, but in a good way wanting more.) There were some plot holes/armor but to be expected ¹/2
