Obviously that’s crappy and I don’t see any consumer benefit to that, where has this idea of tethering choice to broadband access come from?
So the choice remains to either buy the product or don’t, this allows the streaming services to pretty much charge as they please or introduce advertising. By bundling these services together will this not reintroduce competition to a certain extent allowing consumers to choose bundles/providers?
Eg, if you like watching Star Wars shows your only available option is to pay for Disney+ and it’s the same with any major franchise.
I’m confused by what you mean by “era of consumer choice”. As it seems to me, if you want to watch a particular show the choice you have is to either pay for the particular service or not. The choice being either buy the product or don’t. Which isn’t exactly a meaningful choice by any stretch?
No thank you.
I know the feeling. Have you tried Valerian Root Tea? It’s the same stuff that they make Valium out of, they gave it to WW1 soldiers who came home with Battle shock. It can be surprisingly good at helping to switch your mind off.
Awwww dude, I wish I hadn’t googled that to check now….
GTA: San Andreas & The Godfather 2 were 100% this.
Err Asian death metal? Gonna have to ask for more details on that please…
Totally agree, it creates a whole new challenge in the game. I think you can also fast travel to certain locations when riding dragons but I haven’t gotten that far yet.
