Some of the gamers who enjoyed Tomb Raider in the '90s would be skewering the game for "DEI" today if it were being released for the first time. They've politicized their immune system so much that they can't help but have autoimmune reactions to common ingredients.
I played through this for this first time a year ago. I dumped about a hundred hours into it. I'm big on elves, and I like their mythology in this game (my character was an elf) ... Solas is interesting, as is the Dalish questline. Give it some more time before making a judgment.
