Tonight’s Eastern Sierra sky is also extremely good.

A starry night sky. The lower part of the frame has trees silhouetted in black, and the upper corners of the sky look darkest; combined, this gives a sort of vignette effect. The sky in the center of the frame is brighter, but still rich with stars. To the left of center, the Milky Way cuts vertically up the screen. To the right of center, the nucleus of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS hovers just above the trees, and its long tail angles toward the upper left.
