People should not be counting on such a radicalized cult suddenly coming to their senses simply because they are narrowly losing elections while getting closer and closer to getting enough people in the right positions for a successful coup that gives them total power.

I don't think they'll come to their senses. Ever. I think that they're inherently low- propensity voters, ESPECIALLY since they believe votes are rigged, and once Trump is no longer there to get people excited to vote for him they'll disengage from electoral politics and just start militias.
