They might be some of their biggest and loudest supporters but they’re utterly detrimental for any goal beyond a neoliberal one-party state that stays in power not because of any policy triumphs, but with the constant threat of fascist takeover by the other side of the uniparty
Blue MAGA is a real problem for the Dems because it spurns coalition building and grassroots organizing for blind optimism and ideological homogeneity, something that pisses off the unconvinced and won’t accept anything besides total fealty to the establishment
I really don’t get it because “is likely voting for harris but isn’t that enthusiastic about it for obvious reasons” represents the average American citizen, and instead of trying to rectify the problem they’re just shouting them down for being insufficiently enthusiastic
