I flew back from the East Coast a couple of weeks ago. I was masked, as was the woman sitting next to me. SO many people all around me sneezing, coughing. I picked up a cold despite the mask - masks work best at stopping YOUR germs from spreading. So why bother? Damn, people are selfish.

Lol, same! I’m not sure what screwed me up worse when I was 12 - these or Heinlein. Luckily I discovered Burroughs (not Edgar Rice - the other one) & Ballard’s CRASH a few years later to straighten my head out.
