I feel like the 'artifact removed' tags in Smithsonian museums would have more impact with context. Like, not removed for cleaning or study or whatever, but because it was looted so it's been removed from display or repatriated. e.g.

Three US museums marked the return of the sculptures with a ceremony in Washington, DC.

You need secure and climate controlled spaces for artifacts. Hopefully the museums can assist in that effort.
