at "dawn" i couldn't even see the oaks in my own back yard, the fog was ... tangible. eugene, south hills, at 800'.

Well, it kinda might depend where one is in Oregon, but the winter sunrise over seven devils (ID but viewed to the E from OR) is pretty awesome. E of the cascades’ marine layer rocks it, just sayin…
