I mean, they should because we're supposed to be a country where voters choose their leaders...but they won't because they'll believe their own rationalizations and made up news stories about "voter fraud" and so on.

The only way out is for them to lose so badly and so repeatedly that they lose any credibility even with normies and folks just openly call them cranks, forcing them to discard the narrative. It will take a while.
