This is exactly what he did in 2020 so that he could go on TV on election night and say PA should stop the counting because he was ahead. In 2020 he worked with PA Republicans to ensure that mail-in ballots couldn't begin to be counted until polls closed. It's the same playbook.

He did that in MI also in 2000, and then sent a mob to harass election centers calling for them to "stop the count." Due to the trifecta MI elected in 2022, early counting will be happening. I still foresee counting going late into the night or even to the next morning in some places.

It is also why his GA electors what to hand count ballots after the scanners scan them. To slow down the process.

Minor clarification: mail in ballots in PA can be canvassed and counted starting when polls open. Some counties chose to wait until polls closed to begin counting.

County elections officials were begging in 2020 & 2022 to be able to start counting mail-in ballots before the polls closed so they could get results more quickly. Republicans have consistently refused to allow this. The reason? To create fog around election results. www.witf.org/2022/07/20/f...

Not even counted. Just "canvassed," which is some sort of processing that gets them ready to be counted. Not even counted. Just "canvassed," which is some sort of processing that gets them ready to be counted.

That's exactly what he did. He went on TV and said the election was over and he had won and all counting should stop because the election was yesterday. And just like 2020 it's not going to work.

Not sure of the accuracy but I was interested to read here that the pattern may be different this year due to unique super-high mail volume in 2020, possibly even with blue-to-red shift this time? pennsylvaniapowered.substack.com/p/the-pennsy...

Early and absentee voting was difficult in PA until the Republican Congress changed it for the pandemic.

Pretty sure PA can start when the polls open, not close.
