Legitimately this. Like we did all the work they just have to get it seen. The amount of publishers I've spoken to that will pretty much just put the book on a page and do nothing else is frustrating.
No one NEEDS a publisher to have a career in comics. Honestly a lot of people would be better off without one- much of what they do (when they actually get around to doing things, lol) are things that you, the creator, can do. Yeah, it's more work, but at least you have some control over everything.
It is actually astonishing how easy it is to be seen here in comparison to other places
