A monitor of mine (Acer Predator XB271HU) has G-Sync, but only does 60 Hz out of the HDMI port, you use DisplayPort for 120/144 Hz. No problem. Except my laptop only has HDMI and USB-C outputs. No HDMI -> DP converter works with G-Sync, and Nvidia can't see it to do G-Sync via USB-C. #techsupport
Left with the terrible choice between smoother framerates below 60 but nothing higher, or 120 Hz but more likelihood for tearing and no Nvidia tools like the simple recording.
What about a USB-C dock that has DisplayPort?
