(12/12) Decriminalize sex work and abolish whorephobia so that consenting adults can safely continue to have sex outdoors.

(11/12) Outdoor sex workers have always been at the forefront of the sex workers’ rights movement. They built it. They built it in direct response to the whorephobia they’ve faced within and outside various sex working communities.

(10/12) I did not know that #NationalOutdoorIntercourseDay existed, but I’m sure glad it does. Also, considering the theme of this day, I’d be foolish not to repeat what many sex workers have consistently said: on-street sex workers face some of the most blatant and violent whorephobia.

(9/12) #IrisDay is all about this gorgeous purple flower. Fun fact, both flowers and the colour purple have historically represented various queer folks/movements. Purple often reminds me of both bi and ACE folks.

(8/12) Vesak Day, or #BuddhaDay, is a sacred day to millions of practicing Buddhists. It marks the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha. Blessed Vesak to those observing.

(7/12) Let some of us ensure that thalassemia remains that way by removing various socioeconomic barriers to treatment.

(6/12) #InternationalThalassaemiaDay is devoted to raising awareness about thalassemia (a blood disorder that prevents the body from making enough hemoglobin). Thalassaemia is manageable with blood transfusions and chelation therapy.

(5/12) Receptionists, like most administrators, work extremely hard. They are the glue keeping many businesses and institutions together. Let’s treat every day like #NationalReceptionistsDay and acknowledge/appreciate the work receptionists do.

(4/12) #WorldRedCrossDay is dedicated to jerking off the Red Cross. The Red Cross has deep Christian missionary roots and continues its colonialist/imperialist ways to this day. No fucking thank you.

(3/12) They were also just as racist and transphobic as the Nazis as well. The Holocaust, in many ways, was facilitated by the actions/lack thereof of the allied parties. They are just as responsible for this genocide as the Nazi Party.
