21 years ago, btw. I’m making: seared scallops with parsnip purée, brown butter and burnt sage; duck confit with duck fat roasted potatoes and a simple side salad; and vanilla pannacotta with raspberry granita and fresh raspberries. 💕
I asked the guy at Whole Foods to pick the 10 plumpest scallops he could find as it’s my wife’s and my anniversary of getting together and scallops are her favorite. He asked how long we’d been together. When I told him the year, he replied that’s when he was born. 💀
