1. They weren't. 2. The science overwhelmingly says that imbalance doesn't exist between cis women and trans women who've been in HRT for two or more years. 3. Prepubescent kids are targeted by such bans despite not having developed the assumed imbalance. Etc. It's irrational BS all the way down.
Craziest part: They only flash like that when they feel stressed or threatened. As in, ready to release it's deadly paralysing neurotoxin. There is no antivenin. The only treatement is immediate artificial respiration until the venom is metabolised.

A lot of online ostensibly leftist criticism I see seems to come from an unspoken, perhaps unconscious assumption that the US is a dictatorship and one elected person (especially the Prez) can change literally everything if they want - so if they didn't do it, they didn't want to.
Except replies to other people aren't just "publishing your own thoughts", they necessarily involve the other person. If he's that concerned maybe he should make his own posts instead of just replying to others.
My emotional response to those images was "The folks on the right look like they'd offer me a slice. The houses on the left look like I'd be shot in the face for ringing the doorbell".
