I loop. Most of my students in APUSH shift over to my AP Gov class. We easily shift into teaching and learning within the first few days of the year because trust is already present.
So jealous. Today was tough.
There is nothing quite like the tired we face as we are rolling into the last days before a break.
Today was one of those days that as I started teaching one of my classes I realized that the students weren’t in a headspace to do what I had planned for the class. So I paused. We reflected and we took care of other things so we’ll be ready to tackle the topic tomorrow. And it will be ok.
