Would you rather... Work with someone who knew all the technical terms in software engineering, but consistently implements inaccurate solutions Or Work with someone who knows how to get the job done correctly, but doesn't know the technical terms of what they built

I think clearly the one who is getting the job done correctly. Terminology is going to be easier to learn than actual problem-solving, and if neither ever improves, definitely want the one who is actually finding solutions.
