My mom has a maltese rescued from a breeder who was going to “discard” her because she could not have puppies anymore…I can assure you i am not buying a dog ever.

:') I've owned rescues as a kid and it's heartbreaking what people do to them. Not everyone can adopt though (many adopted dogs require specialist care that not everyone can provide, they're not like cats) and I have nothing against people buying dogs from breeders who aren't in it for the money.
