I think one of the most painful aspects of this is that it happened in real time. Those of us paying attention were shouted down and told not to be negative during a pandemic (which I get, it was a terrifying time). Infuriating at how blatant the corruption was within govt at that time.
I can think of a way of making good our budget shortfall....
