Just keep an eye out on Affinity. They were recently acquired by Canva, who are known for their AI photo editing. Which... It's a damn shame as I bought my copy a few years ago.

Currently I'm mostly trying to avoid monthly payments as much as I can, at least as long as the business doesn't scrap any future works of mine. And there's not a whole lot of perfect choices out there unfortunately
