Blue Sky also isn't actively promoting the use of Generative AI or trying to interfere with politics in a way that could harm millions. Like if anything he cares too much in the worst way possible.

I really don’t need a social media app to care about me, just a place that isn’t ran by one of the dumbest men in existence and isn’t becoming 4chan light.

It’s so refreshing to not see bots, crypto scams and Neo Nazis promoted on my feed again and actually see the posts of the people I’m following.

like yeah none of them care about me but at least I dont have to see nazis in every post

My viewpoint has been a bit different in the sense I've had to rebuild anyway (Musk snapped my old main in June for no reason) so I've been hoping folks would jump over eventually, anyway.

Yeah you can only go up from openly hostile. I'll take doesn't care over actively trying to make your experience worse everytime you open the app everyday of the week.

Its like people forget that you get so little notice on it compared to bluesky that lets people see tweets even months later

Literally bluesky could be terrible and it wouldn't matter since the bar is under the ground already
