It seems like an awful lot of the media is 1. owned by fascist billionaires 2. populated with "journalists" who have no conscience and 3. apparently want to be the authoritarian regimes personal news outlet. And I just do not have it in me to keep being this angry.
I know I shouldn't laugh, but Coates' expression is hilarious. Also, there is a lesson here. And that lesson is rooted in how much better this man's life is now because of the simple fact that he got tf offline.
The death of purchased media still hasn't happened, though we're looking at things as a specialist/enthusiast mode rather than a big mainstream activity. Though I do wonder what rental vs retail purchases for media really looked like.
i read recently about how one thing that claims lives in otherwise survivable crisis situations is that people just refuse to believe that what is happening is happening and are cognitively unable to respond to the situation at hand.
