sometimes, when you're drawing your comics, you just have to spend way too much time and effort drawing a tiny little detail that will go completely unnoticed

sound pretty gross sexual-politics. felt kind of out of touch... talking myself out of liking it quickly here. I think reading it as a fable, like it presents itself, makes it come together somewhat better. makes some of the bombast and general, bizarre choices more.. palatable

I mean, I wouldn't call it a great movie - or even a good movie. It's certainly messy, although I found it more straightforward than I had expected. Definitely has some baffling images, and equally ridiculous sound effects, that I could never have imagined
