It’s low-key ignorant to suggest being a teen boy before online games got huge wasn’t deeply misogynist and homophobic. Early to mid 2000s was all “steers or queers” mentality. Some of us got beat, alienated, and kicked out for just being fluid. That’s a big price to pay for being yourself.
