Now, there are lots of questions about norms and reclaiming etc that go with this which are important - but my main concern is this. How can this not lead to the cementing of the treatment lag between presentation at MH services and autism diagnosis, already 12 years?

Given there is SO MUCH overlap and there is no criteria that requires one finds these things difficult in oneself, how to justify saying 'personality disorder' rather than difference? I have my focus here on what 'PD' does in services which is the opposite of affirmation often. #ActuallyAutistic
