Ok, I’ll throw out some new user tips! Add your own to the thread! * There’s no algorithm, it’s all chronological! You’ll have to follow more people to get a comparable experience. * Likes are private- be sure to repost what you want to boost! * Check settings- I like showing replies
You can easily join and stay updated on a community by finding feeds that align with your interests. They function just like every other timeline you have - and you can hide/show them as you please.
* Blocks nuke the entire interaction chain, if one party blocks the other, NO ONE can (easily) see who said what. Kills drama in its tracks. Block early, block often. * Blocklists can be seen publicly via a tool, though, so be aware! * Feeds are very powerful! Explore them!
Mutelists are controversial, understandably as they can be abused to target people of color, BUT I've also found them incredibly helpful in making a better experience. Speaking of people of color, fair warning that this app still has a LOT of racism issues. There's not much moderation here...
If you liked Tweetdeck before they ruined it Bluesky has its own version called BlueDeck @deck.blue. Gives you that old Tweetdeck experience we all loved
