Pokemon lore is great when they're not being cowards about it, change my mind. Says the Samurott to the void that is a blue sky, I know, but seriously. I consider it a challenge to take what they gave us and elaborate, one I happily embrace as a writer on the side.
Personally I'm more interested in the complete creation myth myself, though. I wonder why they never included it. I also wonder who the unidentified Pokemon are supposed to be, because that's *also* lore fuel for OCs. You could make some cool concepts from what we have already, too.

But if they still manage to win like that, THEN you change the party back. They were always a band of dragons just like you, right? Yeah. Whatever they were doing, you don't know why they didn't already deal with it. If dragons are too easy they'll just start a rematch, get TFed, and flee.
Not that winning the fight changes you back on its own, mind you.
Watch the move once so your Blue Mage can learn it, then use it on you so now the playing field is even, and now you get to use it everywhere else in the game. Or just use the accessory that reflects magic at the start of the fight and wonder why you just got a bunch of exp...
