I don’t get push notifications consistently unless it’s on my watch (???) and I could not turn that off fast enough lol but they have to work on the actual user experience here because it feels like a really buggy Twitter and I might as well stay on Twitter at that point 🤷🏻‍♀️

You have to go into your moderation settings through a web browser to be able to change it, but even then it sometimes doesn’t work on the app

they don’t, for the most part 🤷🏻‍♀️ the developers wrote a blog post about how they might want to add hashtags in the future but it’s all hypothetical at the moment

I’ve only gotten one at a time every week+, which is fine with me! But I just got an influx of followers this morning so I assume another huge batch of invites went out today lol

I think this place going down happened a couple hours after That announcement lol but if Bluesky is controlling the invite system as much as they say they are, it would’ve been so easy to avoid a crash like that 😬

Yeah, I think it was over the weekend for a few hours? But it was definitely a server overload for them because people were fleeing the bird app in droves again lol
