I wonder if there’s some knowledge assumed in this post? I hope the services being talked about are the ones that cut across the 30+ arms length bodies that Defra works alongside. I tend to liken Defra and the ALBs to a federated organisation, with all the challenges that that brings.

Morning dog walk is now definitely in the dark. There’s a period of compressed activity as really early joggers and walkers walk a little later to catch the light. They’ll jog later and later until I guess they stop. I’ll get the head torch and ‘disco dog collar’ out and keep on walking
