I've been very lucky that my son wants to do stuff like play video games with me(even on stream!). He's into Minecraft big time, so I support that even though I don't play it, and give him suggestions for games to try, but never push it.

With my kids I learned very early on the best thing you can do is just throw whatever it is you like at them for consideration and go with what sticks. Like, my son doesn't care about Ghostbusters, but loves Doctor Who. So I'll focus on enjoying Doctor Who with him versus dragging him to see GB.

I'm a parent myself, and I know waaaaaaaay too many parents like this. It sucks.
