We’re about to take our daughter back to college and will likely be some of the only people masking in enclosed spaces. Given that we came back sick with various things (including Covid) every time we visited last school year, it is the only reasonable choice.

I might have just lost it on a thread where a bunch of people were saying "COVID is just a flu." I wrote more words than I'm sure anyone there wanted to hear about immune dysregulation, Long COVID, brain damage, heart attacks, and more. But I'm so tired of being gaslit.

As someone still trying to get over being knocked on his ass for a week, I really hope nobody wants to tell me it doesn't exist. I had put the mask aside, but I won't ever do it again.
