The reason this is funnier than it is dystopian is that Brian Sewell would be so angry. He would angrier than all the other dead people AI could mimic, put together. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back from the dead, with anger. www.theguardian.com/media/2024/s...

The bottom line is, we can't afford Brexit. We can't afford the food price increases and we certainly can't afford the fact that our economy is £140bn smaller. We wouldn't even need to talk about cutting the £1.5bn Winter Fuel Allowance if it wasn't for Brexit.

Letter in The Times. Ignorance, swaggering entitlement and prejudice have got us absolutely nowhere. And they *never* will.

Sir, In your otherwise admirable leading article on his appointment as the French prime minister, you describe Michel Barnier as Britain’s “old Brexit adversary”. On the contrary, he tried assiduously to give the UK an excellent deal, but was stymied by a buffoon of a British prime minister with no grasp of of or interest in detail, egged on by his rabidly anti-European supporters.

My son is 19, Autistic, Non Verbal & has profound learning disabilities. He cannot read or write, dress himself or use a toilet. Today I am taking him to the Job Centre because applying for Universal Credit requires him to attend. It’s hard to imagine anything less appropriate for his needs
