Eine weitere solche Linie ist die RB69 von Balingen nach Schömberg. Früher führte die Strecke weiter bis Rottweil. Der weiterführende Abschnitt wurde mitsamt des Personenverkehrs 1971 eingestellt. Seit 2002 verkehren auch hier wieder sonn- und feiertags Züge, mittlerweile Lint-Triebwagen der SWEG.
In BaWü gibt es mehrere Strecken, auf denen moderner, bestellter Nahverkehr stattfindet (keine Museumsbahn) -- aber nur an Sommer-Sonn- & Feiertagen. Eine ist die RB67 Eyach HzL - Haigerloch - Hechingen Landesbahn. Hier fährt SWEG mit Lint-Triebwagen, an Bord gibt es einen SnackService (#diningcar)
auch eher skurill ist die ehemalige Anschlussbahn in Wuhlheide, wo es jetzt eine Tesla-Fabrik gibt. als Personalpendel ca 1x/h bedient. und, wie passend, mit Akkuzügen. Tesla fährt für bwegt oder so ...
The line does actually have some nice views, especially the viaducts south of Münster and north of Zazenhausen. A more permanent service is planned, but one problem is that Stuttgart-Münster only has one platform, so all southbound trains must cross into the northbound track, interrupting freights🤦🏻♂️
Probably one of Germany's least-used urban stations: Stuttgart Ebitzweg. It's on the tangential freight diversion around Stuttgart Hbf, used by line RB11. There are only 6 passenger trains each way, 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. That said there were people using the train and the station

no it's a flat almost straight line. But the bridges under the Riedbahn and the other line at Bensheim are the problem reportedly
But as far as the public documents say, from December, this will be the hourly train through to Bensheim again, which requires the DMUs. I think I've read somewhere, that the electrification might be dismantled then 😬
