I used that word ONCE at the age of, oh, 10 or 12? Must have heard it at school, I guess, because I sure didn’t at home. My mother was livid, she squashed that so fast. She was having NONE of it. Found out years later that my brother had the exact same core memory but with my dad over “gay.”

Oh yeah, for any kind of government agency issue you’re having, constituent services from your electeds is an often overlooked solution. (True at the state level too, if you’re having state gov issues, poke your assembycritter’s office!)
