I have no problem with the Bible being taught *about* in public schools. It IS an important part of Western civilization. The level of grift here, however, is stupendous and shameless.

I had the most delicious soup ever as a meal starter on a cruise ship in Egypt. It was vegetable soup with a clear broth and incredibly small minced bits of celery/carrot/onion; simple, but whatever they did to the broth was sooo good.

I was born in Vancouver, BC. The Vancouver Special house is a total thing. You can even get gingerbread house kits to make them at Xmas. They all look like this - balcony across the upper floor, front door can be to the left or the right, occasionally more "Spanish" in feeling.

I would rather take the consequences of a shot laying me out for a day, than get a bad case of whatever-it-is I'm being vaccinated against. For example, some people are hesitant to get the shingles shot because you may feel bad after. Yes - but NOT GETTING SHINGLES later is a good trade-off, IMO. 🙂
