It works for muting too, if people use alt text you don't see screenshots or pictures of isht you've muted. It works great, win/win tings

That's really good to know, as someone with cynophobia on a site where a lot of the interesting people have dogs. Didn't realise bsky had added muted words, let alone included alt text in that.
