I didn't go through the Tumblr crisis or Myspace slow fail, but I've been through enough minor bullshit. Each move just puts another deposit in the big bank of cynicism. This is ephemeral and, unless you signed a contract, nothing they promised ever really matters. Ride the wave; be ready to bail.

And I mean really signed a contract. One that you both negotiate, not the TOS at the door.
