definitely! my only thought is that I suspect having a nice heavy cast iron skillet helped keep the toasting even.
actually, no, I’m going to add: if you pop amaranth, it’s done way faster than you think. I think most of the over-toasting is from leaving the amaranth in the pan where I was popping it ~20 seconds too long.
