I know you all are mad about right wingers calling Harris stupid, which yes, is the basest racism for obvious reasons, but please look to your left and right and ask how the people around you talk about Black women you know because while they might not phrase it the same way this shit is everywhere

That’s got to change. Full stop. Some of the smartest people in American history have been black. For example, Elon’s rockets wouldn’t have ever gotten back to earth without the mathematics of Katherine Johnson.
What drives me nuts is how they try to ignore something the woman says, particularly if she is Black. If she insists on repeating, trying to get her point through, they start getting argumentative, then claim she is bossy and impossible to work with. Men and women both do this too often.

Harris is clearly extremely intelligent. I don’t understand the calling her dumb. It just lowers the bar which she’s cleared 50-fold in every interview, debate, speech she’s given. It may be knee jerk racism but it’s also stupid, as she is obviously smart.

After some serious stuff happened, my mother finally acknowledged that she needed a counselor. The place I recommended assigned her "a young black lady", and my mother is distressed for reasons she can't quite express. I have very little patience for this.
