I think I've got just about everything planned out, even storage. Initially the road trip was Nov but decided to ride up for CFF and leave it with a friend for the Blueridge Parkway.

One of my past road trips was on a BMW R1150GS, and I did the same "strap a bag to the passenger seat" trick, haha That's a Panigale, yeah? You can still get aftermarket saddlebags I think! It's awesome you can ride to a con, I've wanted to do that for a while.
