Within my new project as a PostDoc, I investigate how the law proceeds and multiplies classed and racialized geographies of inequalities within and through state-driven institutions such as district courts by focusing on cases of #ForcedEviction specifically.

Awards: All presenters will be considered for the LSGS Graduate Students Presentation Award. This award is given out annually by LSGS to support upcoming scholars and is valued at $100.
Eligibility: Please be a current or prospective master's or PhD student, with a research focus that involves some form of legal inquiry. We also welcome those who have not previously considered their work to be 'legal geography'.
Session description: Legal Geography explores the practice & conceptualization of the law in and via place & space, examining the relationship betw law and the changing spatial, social, and envir conditions that create & contribute to our understanding of the world(s) we inhabit.
