I left my minimum wage job after a week, because I cannot believe how awful people behave. Not even teenagers, people my age and older. I may be weird or cringe. But you're mean. And that's worse. I am not going to tolerate being treated poorly.

I understand the privilege I have to walk away from a place like that, and that many other people don't have a choice. I just wish the world was a kinder place.
